The man accused of gunning-down a former central Wisconsin judge has died.
Authorities yesterday said 56-year-old Doug Uhde was taken off life support. Uhde was kept on life support until his organs could be harvested. Police say he shot himself after shooting and killing former Juneau County Judge John Roemer in his own home last Friday.
The Wisconsin Department of Justice has not offered a specific motive for the killing, but court records show that Judge Roemer sent Uhde to prison for six years back in 2005.
