Wisconsin’s unemployment rate is at a record low.
The Department of Workforce Development reported the state’s jobless rate declined to two-point-nine-percent last month, down from three-percent in January. The state also added more than 20-thousand private sector jobs over that same time period. Wisconsin’s two-point-nine-percent unemployment rate ties the previous record low set in January, February, and March of 2018 and again in March 2020.
