The Dane County District Attorney’s Office is now handling the investigation of a Madison police shooting from earlier this year.
Police say they shot a man back in January after he reportedly shot at officers during an attempted arrest on the city’s northeast side. The Wisconsin Department of Justice says it won’t be providing any more updates on the case. The Dane County District Attorney will make the charging decision.
