A city council committee in Marshfield votes down a proposal to require employees to get the coronavirus vaccine.
The city was considering having employees submit proof of vaccination voluntarily with no penalties, but the proposal was voted down Tuesday four-to-one. The city could consider a similar proposal in the future.
