It was a violent Thursday night in Milwaukee.
Police say nine people were wounded in two separate shootings. The first happened about 8:30 last night near 37th and Meinecke. Five people were wounded. The second shooting happened about an hour later near 8th and Cherry. Four people were wounded in that shooting. Police are not saying anything about suspects or a motive in either of the cases.
