Governor Tony Evers is recognizing the men and women of the Wisconsin National Guard for their efforts during the pandemic.
This week, Evers proclaimed August 24th “Wisconsin National Guard COVID-19 Support Recognition Day.” More than 100 guardsmen were on hand for the ceremony dedicating the day and recognizing their efforts in the state and abroad. Evers noted that more than two-thousand dedicated soldiers and airmen did more than their part in saving thousands of lives in the state.
