The Wisconsin Supreme Court is not going to weigh-in on ballot drop boxes and ballot harvesting.
The court on Friday dismissed a challenge from a Wisconsin businessman who says Wisconsin election law doesn’t allow for ballot drop boxes or allow other people to collect ballots for voters. The court’s liberal justices and swing justice Brian Hagedorn relied on technical reasons to dismiss the case. They didn’t deal with the merits of the challenge. Republicans in Wisconsin want the rules about drop boxes and ballot harvesting clarified before the 2022 elections.
