No one is saying just how many visitors will be at the World Dairy Expo in Madison this fall. Expo managers yesterday said they are keeping the show in Madison.
They had originally said they were looking at other cities because Madison’s coronavirus restrictions would have made hosting the show, and the 70 thousand visitors it draws, impossible. Dane County Executive Joe Parisi was mum on those restrictions yesterday. Last month Parisi offered to cover the Expo’s costs for the next two years if the show agreed to stay in Madison until at least 2030. Parisi said talks about that new contract remain on-going.
