There is an arrest in a decades-old cold case with a tie to southeast Wisconsin.
Deputies in Colorado arrested 70-year-old Alan Lee Phillips on Wednesday for the murder of two young woman back in 1982. One of those young women, Barbara “Bobbie Jo” Oberholtzer, is from Racine. Her family says they are happy to finally see justice in the case. Investigators linked Phillips to Oberholtzer’s murder through DNA and a genealogy website.
