Madison could be losing the world’s largest cow and cheese show.
Planners for the World Dairy Expo say they are looking at other cities to host this year’s show. Madison’s restrictions on crowds would limit how many people could attend this year’s show at the end of September. Over 60-thousand people from 100 different countries came to the Expo in 2019. Planners say they need a space that can accommodate such a large crowd, as well as hotels and restaurants to keep people happy during their stay. Madison has hosted the World Dairy Expo for 50 years.
