Wisconsin’s coronavirus numbers are so low, the state is changing how it is tracking the virus.
The state’s Department of Health Services this week said it is no longer tracking cases by a week-long, per-person average. DHS says not enough people are being tested for the first time to make that number valuable. Yesterday’s seven-day per-test average was under four percent, and DHS reported just 821 new positives. Hospitalization numbers are down dramatically as well. DHS says 489 people are in the hospital with the virus.
