A 16-year-old southern Wisconsin teen is looking at adult homicide charges after police say he shot his five-day-old baby in the head and left her to die in a fallen tree.

Prosecutors filed charges against Logan Kruckenberg-Anderson yesterday. Originally, he told police he gave his infant daughter, Harper, away. But that story fell apart when he couldn’t provide any details. Police found the baby’s body on Sunday.
Kruckenberg-Anderson is being held on a million-dollars bond, and he’s due back in court next week.
