Kyle Rittenhouse’s lawyer is still on the case but is no longer in charge of a growing legal defense fund.
Attorney John Pierce on Friday stepped away from the hashtag-FightBack Foundation fund to avoid any appearance of impropriety. Pierce is accused of not paying donors at his firm.
The fund has raised over 700-thousand-dollars so far. Pierce will continue to represent Rittenhouse against charges that he shot and killed two people during Kenosha’s nights of violence that followed Jacob Blake’s shooting.
