The State Department of Health says positive COVID-19 cases nearly doubled in the last 24 hours.
They were 478 cases reported on Wednesday and today officials say 943 new positive tests were recorded. That means the rolling daily average is 775 cases. The positivity rate jumped to seven-point-six-percent today. Seven new deaths are confirmed to bring the total number of coronavirus fatalities to one-thousand-and-18 Wisconsinites.
