Wisconsin’s attorney general says he wants to make sure that people get to keep their stimulus check.
A-G Josh Kaul yesterday joined 24 other state A-G’s in asking Congress to make sure that the coronavirus stimulus checks are protected from wage garnishments and other collections. Kaul said people need that money to make ends meet. He says the checks shouldn’t end-up in the hands of debt collectors.
