LATE NIGHT SESSION PASSES BILL TARGETING PFAS

The state assembly passes a bill targeting PFAS contamination.

Lawmakers voted in favor of a bill to restrict usage of the carcinogenic material that is used to fight fires and is believed to cause  groundwater contamination.

The bill was passed in a late night session that ended just after midnight on Friday.  The bill still needs to clear the Senate before it can advance to the Governor’s desk.
