The fountain at Eau Claire’s Wilson Park looks to be on its way out.
The city is looking to replace the fountain with a splash pad. The fountain has been out of action since it suffered a ‘catastrophic pipe failure’ last year. Eau Claire says the splash pad will cost about 150 thousand-dollars.
The plan is to start work on the new pad this summer.
