Wisconsin’s governor is looking to get tougher on vaping, particularly teen vaping.
Governor Evers on Friday unveiled a plan that he says will combat the ‘serious public health epidemic’ of vaping. The governor wants new taxes on vapes and e-cigarettes, he wants to ban all vaping products from public schools in the state, he wants to expand what is considered a public health emergency, and he wants public health managers in Wisconsin to launch an ad blitz to warn young people about the dangers of vaping.
This all comes after more than 25-hundred people from across the country have gotten sick from vaping. The CDC says most of them vaped black-market THC products.
