Welcome to the weekend…if you are planning on crossing some names off your NICE LIST today, expect a few others doing the same.
Today is expected to be the biggest shopping day of the year. The National Retail Federation says it’s expecting nearly 148-million people to buy last minute gifts on what it’s calling ‘Super Saturday.’ Customer Growth Partners president Craig Johnson tells Reuters shoppers will spend around 34-billion dollars today. Thats a couple of billion more than what was spent on Black Friday.
There are fewer days between Christmas and Thanksgiving this year than usual, adding to the last minute shopping mania. Many retailers are offering special discounts and extended hours for the procrastinators.
