CHIPPEWA CO. TO TACKLE YOUTH SUBSTANCE ABUSE

Chippewa County is getting some federal money to help young people say ‘No.’

The county yesterday announced a 625-thousand-dollar grant from the Office of National Drug Control Policy. The money is earmarked for youth substance abuse prevention. Public Health Director Angela Weideman says the hope is to get young people to see that drinking and drugs are real problems in the Chippewa Valley.
