FOXCONN CONNECTS WITH STUDENTS

Students at three Wisconsin colleges, including here locally, are getting a chance to earn and learn at Foxconn.

The company on said it’s going to hire college students as full time employees, but give them paid time off to continue their school work. Gateway Technical College, the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and Chippewa Valley Technical College are the first schools in the new program, but Foxconn says more will likely join.

There is no word when the first students will be hired and whether there will be a cap on the number of students who can participate.
