Two people who died in separate crashes in Monroe County earlier this week are identified.
The county sheriff’s office says Phyllis Mellen died in a crash early Monday morning near Highway 33 and County Highway PC. Kurt Hauge is also recovering from an injury suffered in that crash. Larry Jurgens was also involved in a crash Monday morning on Highway 12. He later died at the hospital.
