There will be a new helper roaming the halls in Onalaska Schools, and this one will not be blamed for eating homework. The school district this year added a second therapy dog to help students throughout the year.
Onalaska school counselor Chrissy Delong says the dogs, Annie and Davie, help kids who may not be able to open-up to teachers or other students. Annie started her shifts at the high school last year, while Davie started his time at Northern Hills Elementary School earlier this week.
