In St. Croix County, charges are being filed against three suspects accused of scamming a Hudson woman.
Investigators say the victim received a call from one of the women stating that the victim had failed to report for jury duty and that she needed to deposit more than 18-thousand dollars into a Bitcoin machine else she would be arrested. The woman fell for the con. The suspects are each charged with party to theft by false representation and party to uttering a forgery.
