WI Invests in Telecommunications

Wisconsin leaders are making investments to improve telecommunication access in the state.

Governor Evers announced one-point-seven-million dollars in grant funding yesterday.  The money will help eligible residents get discounted phone and internet service and provide telecommunications access for rural areas and individuals with disabilities.  The money for the grants is coming from the state’s Universal Service Fund.
