Biden Says He’s Staying Put, Rallies Base in WI

President Biden is vowing to stay in the presidential race following his poor debate performance against Donald Trump. During a campaign rally in Madison, Wisconsin today, Biden told his supporters he’s staying in the race and that he’ll beat Trump in November.

The president laid out his record and brushed off concerns about his age. He called Trump the “biggest liar” and “biggest threat to Democracy.” Biden is trying to ease concerns among his allies and voters following his shaky debate performance last week, which prompted some of his fellow Democrats to call on him to drop out of the race. Biden the push within his own party during the speech.

During a campaign rally in our state, President Biden took a jab at former President Trump and a Fourth of July speech he gave five years ago.

Biden acknowledged there’s a push within his own party to have him exit the 2024 race.
