The Wisconsin Supreme Court is restoring the right to vote using ballot drop boxes statewide.
The method was prohibited in a 2022 ruling by the then-conservative Supreme Court. The ruling doesn’t require election Clerk’s offices to provide the drop boxes, but allows them to at their discretion. Almost 530 drop boxes in 66 counties were used during the 2020 presidential election.
