Applications Open for 2025 Sturgeon Spearing Season

Applications are open for the 2025 sturgeon spearing season in Wisconsin.

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources says 500 people will be chosen to get a license. They’ll be able to spear a sturgeon from Poygan, Winneconne, or Butte des Morts lakes during the season. The application deadline is August 1st. CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFO.
