A Campbellsport high school track star will be able to run at today’s regional track meet after his parents’ address was straightened-out.
The WIAA originally said Josh Onwunili couldn’t run because his parents are living in Africa as part of a mission trip. But on Friday, the WIAA said it confirmed Onwunili’s father’s visa status, and cleared him to run. His case attracted attention from across the state, including the attention of several state lawmakers. Onwunili says he’s excited to run and show what he can do.
