Air Quality Alert Issued

There’s a warning about the air in northwestern Wisconsin.

The state’s Department of Natural Resources yesterday issued an air quality alert because of the smoke from Canada’s wildfire. The DNR says the air may be unhealthy for some people. The DNR says the same Canadian wildfire smoke is expected to move across the rest of the state later today, and could trigger other air quality alerts throughout the day.
