Return to Court, No Contest Plea for Brooks

Return to Court, No Contest Plea for Brooks

Waukesha’s Christmas Parade killer was back in the court room.

Darrell Brooks yesterday pleaded no contest in a witness intimidation case in Milwaukee County yesterday. No contest means he acknowledges that the prosecution has enough evidence to convict him. Investigators say Brooks tried to intimidate the ex-girlfriend who he beat and ran-over about two weeks before he sped through the Waukesha Christmas Parade back in 2021. Brooks will be sentenced in the intimidation case in August, but it won’t matter.

He’s serving six life sentences-plus for killing six people and injuring 60 others in that Christmas Parade attack.
