School leaders in Altoona say it was a false alarm that sent them into lockdown yesterday.
Superintendent Heidi Eliopoulos says their emergency communications system sent a false alarm yesterday afternoon. She sent a note home to parents yesterday saying no kids were ever in danger, and there was no threat. No one is saying just what prompted the false alarm, Eliopoulos said they’re looking into it.
