Wisconsinites in celebrating the Official Friday Fish Fry Day with a fish fry on Friday.
Governor Evers on Friday declared February 16th, 2024 as the state’s Official Friday Fish Fry Day. The governor’s proclamation traces the history of fish fry Fridays back to the nineteenth century, and recognizes how fish fry Fridays have helped the state’s taverns and supper clubs. The governor says he joined other Wisconsinites in celebrating the Official Friday Fish Fry Day with a fish fry on Friday.
