Police and prosecutors continue to be secretive about a weekend killing in Green Bay.
Prosecutors yesterday asked a judge to seal the probable cause affidavit in the case against 45-year-old Owen Backus. Police say he killed a man in a weekend ‘altercation.’ Backus was in court yesterday, and ordered held on a million-dollars bond. Backus’ lawyer says he was acting in self defense. No one, however, is saying how the 30-year-old man who died was killed, or what led-up to his death.
