UW-Platteville is mourning the death of its athletic director and assistant chancellor.
The school said yesterday that Kristina Navarro-Krupka passed away suddenly over the weekend. The university says Navarro-Krupka was pregnant, and that she ‘died unexpectedly during pregnancy.’ Navarro-Krupka grew up in Madison, she graduated from UW-La Crosse in 2006, and was in her fourth year as AD and assistant chancellor at UW-Platteville.
