Bond Set at Half Million Dollars After Tarmac Tussle

Bond Set at Half Million Dollars After Tarmac Tussle

Prosecutors say the man who sped on to the tarmac at La Crosse’s airport over the weekend had a knife and said he had a bomb.

The DA in La Crosse yesterday charged 31-year-old Cody Anderson from Wallace, Idaho with a half-dozen charges after police say he drove his car through a locked gate at the airport, ran on to a private plane, and started making threats. No motive has been released to why Anderson went to the airport, or what he planned to do on the plane. A judge set his bond yesterday at a half-million dollars. Both the La Crosse Police and the FBI are working the case.
