Wisconsin’s governor was in Eau Claire yesterday to make his point about child care.
Governor Tony Evers continues to insist that lawmakers approve more than 350 million-dollars to continue coronavirus-era child care subsidies. The money had been coming from Washington, D.C., but now the governor wants the state to provide that funding. The governor said without action from lawmakers some daycare facilities may have to close, and some families may be left without any options.
