Storms Knock Out Power in Parts of WI

We didn’t see anything too severe in our area, but that wasn’t the case across the state. Storms knocked out power to thousands of Wisconsin families Friday night.

As of 10:30 p.m., Alliant Energy reported nearly six-thousand homes and businesses were without power, including nearly 25-hundred in Green Lake County and more than 200 in Columbia and Iowa counties.  We Energies reported nearly 38-hundred outages in the Fort Atkinson area of Jefferson County and nearly a thousand Adams-Columbia Electric Co-op customers, mostly in Marquette County, had no electricity.
