Despite the recent holiday gas prices in southern Wisconsin are over ten cents lower than they were last month.
Today the average in Madison is three dollars and 30 cents a gallon, while this time last month it was three-43 a gallon. However, Triple-A says gas demand did go up over the holiday weekend so gas prices could follow.
