Madison is seeing a record-breaking amount of snow.
The Dane County Regional Airport on Saturday received over 12 inches of snow in a nine-hour period. That breaks the daily snowfall record for March set in 1971. It’s also rare for Madison to receive over a foot of snow in a 24-hour period, which hasn’t happened since 2012.
