A longtime member of the Badgers football staff is retiring.
Henry Mason started coaching Wisconsin’s wide receivers in 1995, and was moved to the front office in 2009 after suffering an injury. Since then Mason’s been working with NFL scouts to high school coaches to help develop new talent. On Thursday, 21 NFL scouts met at a Madison coffee shop to have coffee and donuts with Mason, and to wish him a happy retirement. One tweet from an NFL scout called Mason “one of most well-liked & respected men” among the NFL scouting community.
