The Wisconsin Senate passes a resolution calling on Governor Tony Evers to hold a special election for Wisconsin Secretary of State.
Republicans are calling for the election after Evers appointed Sarah Godlewski to replace former Secretary of State Doug La Follette. The resolution passed Wednesday and now heads to the assembly but would still need Evers’ signature to pass.
