Two police officers are recovering in the hospital after being shot during a standoff in Racine.
Police say a man fired several gunshots at officers while they were investigating a domestic disturbance near West Boulevard and Gillen Street in Racine late Tuesday night. Police say two officers were hit and suffered non-life threatening injuries. Police say the man eventually surrendered and no one else was hurt.
