There could be a question on the April ballot asking about welfare and work.
The Wisconsin Senate is set to vote today on a resolution that would place an advisory question on the spring ballot that would ask voters whether people on welfare should work in order to receive benefits. The vote wouldn’t change the law or the rules for welfare, it’s advisory only. Critics say the question is an attempt by Republicans to boost their voter turnout in the April election for Supreme Court.
