A bald eagle that was shot last week near Milwaukee has died.
The Wisconsin Humane Society says the eagle died Monday while being cared for at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Milwaukee. The humane society says the eagle was found shot last Wednesday in Franklin. There are currently no leads on a suspect.
