UW Health says it’s keeping its mask mandate despite the okay from the CDC to move-on.
The CDC yesterday said hospitals and nursing homes that are not in an area of high coronavirus activity can drop their mask requirements. Dane County is currently listed as a medium activity county. UW Health managers say they are not making a change, at least not yet. The hospital says it will take another look at its mask policy in two weeks.
