Trial Will Offer Special Space For Victims

The survivors of the Waukesha Christmas Parade tragedy will receive a special room where they can watch the trial of the suspect in the case.

The trial of Darrell Brooks is scheduled to start October third.  He’s charged with driving into the parade last November, killing six people and injuring more than 60 others.  He faces the possibility of life in prison.  The United Way worked with Waukesha County and the District Attorney’s office to secure federal funds to build a special gathering place for survivors to follow the trial, which could last a month.
