Swarms of dragonflies are arriving in what are called unprecedented numbers along the lake front this year.
Officials with the Audubon Nature Center think a warmer climate may have something to do with the dragonfly swarms, which are gathering around Lake Michigan in preparation for their migration south for the winter. The invasion will be a brief one as the dragonflies begin their journey south and on to Mexico in the coming weeks.
