There will soon be more places to charge electric cars and trucks in western Wisconsin.
Xcel Energy last week said it is looking at a new strategy for electric vehicles. The plan is to add charging stations at gas stations, shopping centers, apartment complexes, and transit hubs. Xcel says they want to charge cars, trucks, and even city buses. There is no word when the charging stations will be built, or in which communities. Xcel says it is looking at communities across western Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota.
