Grants Headed to WI Cities For Coastal Management


Kewaunee County is getting four grants from the Wisconsin Coastal Management Program. 

Governor Tony Evers details the grants today which include 30-thousand dollars to test 600 wells.  The city of Algoma will get 30-thousand dollars for the Olson Park Project while Baylake Regional Planning Commission is getting 20-thousand for technical assistance to local governments.  There’s also a 16-thousand-dollar grant to the state Historical Society looking at lumber pier documentation and research.
